             BIDIRECTIONAL MOTOR DRIVER WITH BRAKING FUNCTION
     
     The LB1640N is a bidirectional  motor  driver  IC.  It  is  especially
suited  for  use  in  motor  driver  applications  where  the front loading
function of a VTR or the auto  reverse  function  of  a  cassette  desk  is
performed.
